Dawood Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an Assistant Manager Accounts for its Head Office located in Karachi as per following requirements,
Job Description:
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issues invoices.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Oversee all organizational receivable matters on Monthly basis.
- Ensure timely updating of relevant changes in Income tax ordinance and other tax laws.
- Reconciliation of all the Debtor Accounts and do necessary correspondence with clients.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skill.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP B1 Financial module.
- MBA in accounting, finance or relevant field.

Job Description
- Prepare and provide to management monthly, quarterly, half year yearly & projected accounts within prescribed management deadlines.
- Preparation of Budgets and comparison of budget vs. actual result for the with reasons of variation, if any.
- Maintenance of Fixed Assets registers and ensuring that proper assets record is kept.
- Coordination with other teams within the company, to ensure that information is shared on time.
- Funds Management and Ensuring that payments are made on time.
- Approval of all Journal Entries posted in the system by the team
- Adjustments for consumptions, advances, prepayments, provisions & accruals
- Deals with external auditors for completion of the audit and, tax consultants for tax matters.
- Review of monthly reconciliations prepared by junior staff.
- Verify receipts vouchers through the computerized ledger
- Verify receivables with aging and follow up with the sales team.
- Verify inventory record with stocks level & aging and follow-up.
- Verify monthly, quarterly & annual periodically income tax statements
- Verify monthly sales tax returns with reconciliation
- Verify purchase & sales tax registers & import of material landed cost sheet
- Verify monthly payroll statements
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skill.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP B1 Financial module.
Education:
Candidate should have CA having experience of 2-4 years.
