WE ARE HIRING DESKTOP SUPPORT OFFICER – IT
Al Meezan Investment Management Limited is seeking applications for the position of Desktop Support Officer in its Information Technology Department. This position is responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment and ensuring the smooth functioning of desktop and related IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for users / employee seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by End users
- Guide the End-User through the problem-solving process.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics with end users to enable first-contact fault / problem resolution.
- Ensure timely fault resolution within SLA; escalate to internal or external teams where required, particularly for data center operations.
- Responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting all computer hardware and software issues across all branches of Al Meezan Investments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: Bachelors in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of related field experience.
- Skills: Help Desk Support, Hardware & Network Troubleshooting, Software Installation & Configuration.
