SITUATIONS VACANT: The Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, invites applications from highly qualified, experienced and motivated professionals for appointment on lump-sum contract basis for a period of three years further extendable for one term, against the following positions for strengthening governance, procurement and monitoring of public sector teaching hospitals in Punjab. Applications are invited for the following contract positions:

Post: Hospital Monitoring Officer/ Hospital Governance Executive

No.: 17
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management or Public Administration from an HEC-recognized University/Institution. Candidates possessing a Medical Degree may also apply, provided they possess an additional management qualification as above. Such candidates shall not be entitled to private practice during the tenure of appointment.
Experience: Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in a senior leadership position with proven experience of supervising and managing an organization having at least 5,000 employees.
Age: 45-65

Post: Procurement Specialist/ Officer

No.: 17
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Finance, ACCA or CA from an HEC-recognized University/ Institution.
Experience: Minimum five (05) years’ professional relevant experience
Age: 40-55

Post: Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant

No.: 17
Qualification: Graduation in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Public Health, Statistics, Health Management or Information Technology from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
Experience: Minimum two (02) years’ relevant professional experience.
Age: 25-40

General Instructions

Applicants are required to submit application / dossier(s) on the prescribed proforma which can be downloaded from the website https://health.punjab.gov.pk/along with a non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 2000/- in favor of PLS 6510192291600016 (IBAN; PK47BPUN6510192291600016), Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.
Appointments shall be on lump-sum contract basis.
Salary package will be market competitive.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
Government employees shall apply through proper channel.
Incomplete applications shall not be considered.
Final appointment shall be subject to the verification of educational degrees & experience certificates (any expenditure in this regard shall be borne by the candidate.
No TA/DA is admissible.
Department reserves the right to increase/decrease posts or cancel recruitment at any stage.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents along with the prescribed application form:

a) Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV);
b) Attested copies of all educational degrees, diplomas, certificates and transcripts issued by the relevant examining bodies;
c) Attested copy of valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC);
d) Attested copy of Punjab Domicile Certificate;
e) Attested copies of all experience certificates, duly issued by the respective employer(s)/competent authority(ies);
f) Three (03) recent passport-size coloured photographs;
g) In case of professional qualifications requiring registration with a statutory regulatory body, a valid registration certificate issued by the relevant Council/Authority; Documentary evidence of any additional qualifications, certifications, professional memberships, training or achievements claimed in the application; NOC from the present employer, in case of Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Body employees, to be produced at the time of interview or as otherwise required by the Department.
