SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER
Diploma / Certificate in Textile & Fashion Designing | 7 years of relevant fashion industry experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Conceptualize seasonal themes, product ranges, sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards • Select fabrics, trims, and design elements to lead the creative direction of the line • Conduct trend research, color forecasting, and market analysis to track customer preferences • Oversee prototyping and sampling while collaborating with pattern makers and technical teams • Conduct fit sessions and approve samples for production • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior designers, assistants, and interns • Align all designs with brand identity, business goals, and visual aesthetic • Manage collection calendars, design specs, and documentation to hit deadlines • Coordinate with purchasing team to execute collections seamlessly • Maintain an understanding of target customers, price points, and market positioning
