PROJECT STAFF REQUIRED: Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following project posts purely on contract basis for the HEC Funded Projects at University of Narowal

Positions & Details

Position 1: Project Director Project Pay Scale (PPS-8)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience: i. B.Sc. (second division) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; ii. Registered with Pakistan Engineering Council as an Engineer in Civil; and iii. Five years post qualification relevant executive level experience in construction sector.
• Age: 25-45 Years
• Project Title: Strengthening & Expansion of University of Narowal

Position 2: Accounts Officer / Deputy Treasurer Project Pay Scale (PPS-8)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience: i. MS. or M.Phil. (second division) in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and ii. Three years post qualification relevant experience OR i. MBA in Finance or M.Com. or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. (second division) in Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and ii. Five years post qualification relevant experience.
• Age: 25-45 Years
• Project Title: Strengthening & Expansion of University of Narowal

Position 3: Sub Engineer Project Pay Scale (PPS-6)

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience: i. D.A.E in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute; and ii. Ten years post qualification relevant experience.
• Age: 21-40 Years
• Project Title: Strengthening & Expansion of University of Narowal

Terms & Conditions

1. Applicants are required to complete and submit the online application form through the University of Narowal Job Portal at www.uon.edu.pk by 14.09.2026, along with uploading all required documents and the paid challan. In addition, candidates must send one (01) printed set of the duly completed application form, all required documents, and the original paid challan through courier service to the Office of the Registrar, University of Narowal, no later than 17.09.2026 at 04:00 PM. Applications submitted by hand will not be accepted or entertained under any circumstances.
2. Applicants are required to submit one (01) set of the duly completed online application form, along with attested copies of all degrees/certificates, both sides of transcripts/Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs), attested/verified experience certificates, updated CV, NOC, domicile, CNIC, and recent passport-size photographs.
3. The responsibility of authenticity/genuineness of the documents/data provided/given with the application will rest absolutely on the applicant. In case any information provided by the applicant in his/her application form is found incorrect or false at any stage, he/she will be disqualified and action will be taken under the rules.
4. Dismissed/terminated from the service or penalized contrary to the service(s), by any of the University/Government Department/Autonomous Body/Semi- Government/Service Tribunal or any Court of Law are not eligible to apply against aforementioned posts.
5. Applicants working in any capacity in the Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies (including UON Employees) must apply through proper channel and attach NOC issued by competent authority.
6. The experience gained on Daily Basis, Part time, Honorary and Apprentice shall not be considered.
7. Experience in private entities shall only be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms of any other Regulatory Authority.
8. The applicant(s) having foreign degree must attach HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate (issued & attested by the HEC/IBCC) with the application form.
9. Age Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed as per the Government/University rules
10. An original Bank Challan/Deposit slip paid in any Bank of Punjab branch, Account No. 6510222875800028 must be provided with the application form. No Bank Draft, Pay Order, Cheque or Postal Order etc. are acceptable. Note: (Applicant must attach the Original Paid Challan receipt with hard copy of application. Without original paid challan application shall be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected).

Non-refundable application processing fee is as under:

• Rs. 1000/- for (PPS-08)
• Rs. 800/- for (PPS-06)

11. The hiring process is subject to the approval of the Competent Authority.
12. Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria (mentioned in the advertisement/according to the University Service Statutes/Official Schedule) will be called for test/interview and no TA/DA will be admissible for this purpose.
13. Please clearly write name of the post applied for on top right side of the envelope.
14. The University is not responsible for delays in receiving call letters for interview due to courier’s lapses.
15. The University reserves the right not to fill any post/withdraw the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
16. Shortlisting of the applicants shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University according to the rules /service statutes/official schedule.
17. All terms and conditions, rules and regulations, perks and privileges, contributions and decisions of University of Narowal/Government of the Punjab /Federal Government / HEC shall apply to the incumbents appointed against the instant advertisement.
18. All the recruitments shall be made purely on contract basis & project basis and governed under the provision available in the Project. Aforementioned posts will be abolished after the completion of project. The selected candidates will have no right to claim their appointment on regular basis.
