Manager Stitching Accessories Store
We’re looking for a Manager Stitching Accessories Store to lead and oversee all material handling for our stitching and production units, ensuring every trim, accessory, and component reaches the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the complete store operations for stitching accessories, including threads, zippers, labels, elastic, buttons, trims, packaging materials, polybags, cartons, tapes, tag pins, and all related items used in stitching and finishing.
- Ensure systematic receiving, counting, inspection, and tagging of all incoming accessories to avoid shortages or quality issues.
- Track consumption patterns and forecast upcoming material needs based on stitching plans and order priorities.
- Issue stitching accessories to production floors as per approved issuance slips, ensuring accuracy, quantity control, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the stitching, cutting, and finishing departments to verify material requirements for each style, PO, and size set.
- Implement strong FIFO/FEFO protocols to ensure proper utilization of materials and prevent expiry or damage.
- Ensure immediate replacement or reporting of any defective, damaged, or mismatched accessories.
- Monitor consumption against standards to highlight over-issuance or unusual usage to management.
- Liaise with QA and Production teams to ensure all accessories meet order specifications before issuance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in stitching accessories store management within a textile or garment setup.
- Strong understanding of stitching materials, trims, and consumption planning.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and inventory control tools.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- A proactive, organized, and detail-focused mindset.
