Education: Intermediate
Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 Years of Hands on Experience in Food Retail specifically in Goods Receiving Department
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Ensure All Stocks are Received on Quality Standards Set by department
- Ensure Vehicles / Trucks deliver as per Temperature and Hygiene Norms
- Stock received should be in sellable form
- Ensure Quantity Matches Purchase Order
- Match the Quantity with Physical Stocks
- Report and document discrepancy to buyers and rectify
- Do not receive excess stocks above PO Quantity
- Ensure products meet Standards & Shelf life Norms
- Net Weight, Measures, clearly printed on packs
- Valid and clear Expire Date printed properly on all pieces to be checked randomly
- Customer Care, Name & Address of Manufacturer or Importer clearly printed on pack
- Proper Bar code and scanning properly in scanner and matching exact SKU description with pack size
- Timely movement of stock form receiving to Shop floor or warehouse
- Reject stocks not meeting standards after approval
- Segregate and keep returnable stocks in designated area
- Keep receiving area clean at all times.
