JOB TITLE : Head of Information Technology
REPORTS TO : Managing Director & CEO
Job Purpose:
Head of Information Technology will be responsible for leading the Information Technology
function by providing leadership and direction to the IT team along with managing their
performance. He / she will take initiatives and analyze the business requirements for building a
robust IT system. The incumbent will design and implement IT strategies for upgrading and
installing advanced version of Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) and other systems. He / she will be responsible for implementing and enhancing
Cybersecurity measures to modernize IT infrastructure and secure protection against
Cyber Threats.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading and building the team of IT Professionals and providing guidance,
mentorship, and training to ensure their professional development. - Implementing the Company’s IT Strategic Plans, overseeing IT Operations, monitoring
utilization of IT resources, and implementing IT Business Continuity Plan and Disaster
Recovery Plan (DRP). - Maintaining all the IT Operations within allocated budget while managing cost-effectiveness
when working on deployment and upgradation of ERP, other Business Applications, Disaster
Recovery Plan (DRP) and Cybersecurity Management. - Responsible to ensure appropriate and robust Cyber Security measures to avoid security
breaches while coordinating with internal team, external consultants, and vendors to ensure
smooth implementation process. - Monitoring Technical Operations of all IT Systems, Hardware and Software such as
File Server, Antivirus, VPN, Internet proxies etc., to track work reliability, efficiency, and
security to minimize risks. - Implementing, modernizing, and handling IT Infrastructure related project planning and
execution to support the Company’s future needs including Cloud Service, Network
Management and Data Management System. - Managing network and system performance, conducting troubleshooting, security patching,
and maintenance to increase work efficacy and minimize risks, breaches, and incidents. - Managing the IT budget and defining the yearly objectives including long-term strategic plans
which align with the Company’s objectives. - Developing and implementing IT related policies as well as overseeing / carrying out training
sessions for IT team and other departments to ensure right set of knowledge and skills are
facilitated for the adoption of the advanced system company wide.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (preference will be given to candidates with
relevant Certifications).
Experience: Minimum 14 years of relevant experience
Technical Competencies: In-depth knowledge of ERP Administration, Application Management
(SAP, Microsoft, Firewall, Antivirus, Operating System), Hardware Management, Cyber Security,
Budgeting Management, Project Management, and Infrastructure Management.
Non-Technical Competencies: Strategic Thinking, Critical Decision-Making Skills, Leadership
Skills, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Delegation and Control, Taking Initiative and
Drive to Excel.
