Job Overview:
Responsible for supporting the procurement cycle of all trims and accessories by ensuring timely sourcing, order placement, and delivery in line with production requirements. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, internal departments, and the Manager to achieve cost-effective purchasing, quality assurance, and on-time availability of materials, contributing to smooth production operations and customer satisfaction.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Bachelors in Supply Chain or in related fields
- Minimum Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience
Core Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of trims & accessories sourcing, specifications, and applications in garment production
- Understanding of procurement cycle, vendor management, and cost negotiation
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and MS Office for procurement transactions and reporting
- Ability to analyse consumption trends, lead times, and stock requirements
- Coordination and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork (Merchandising, PD, Production, QA)
- Knowledge of quality standards, compliance requirements, and supplier evaluation
