Ghulam Faruque Group (GFG) is a progressive industrial group and has interest in Sugar, Paper & Board, Distillery, Cement, Packaging, Power, Engineering and Trading Sectors. We are looking for qualified and talented individual for the following position for our Paper & Board Division, based in Mirpurkhas, Sindh.
Hydraulic Engineer
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hydraulic systems including hydraulic cartridge valve, pump, nitrogen cylinder, gauges, heat exchangers, lubrication system, filters, jack, solenoid valves etc.
- Identify and troubleshoot hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all hydraulic systems are working safely.
- Maintain operational logs accordingly.
- Maintain necessary inventory to avoid any stoppage.
Ideal candidate must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the Paper & Board or Packaging Industry.

Chemical Engineer / Senior Chemical Engineer
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensure starch cooking process as per standard.
- Ensure starch and additives applications as per product quality requirements.
- Dyes solutions preparations and applications as per product quality requirements.
- Maintain necessary inventory of required chemicals to avoid any stoppage.
- Research and development for cost reduction of chemicals and starch.
- Plan and conduct trials to evaluate new sources and make ROI.
- Training and development of shifts staff.
Ideal candidate must have:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Paper & Board Industry.
