Meezan Bank is looking to hire in the Information Technology and Digital Banking department at its Head Office in Karachi!
Position: Officer IT Support
Eligibility: BS in Computer Science from a recognized university.
Experience: 1 to 2 years relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support against queries and issues related to computer systems, mobile devices, software and hardware.
- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone or through remote sessions.
- Respond to email queries for customers/users seeking help.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN) and other network devices.
- Hands-on experience on Operating Systems: Windows (8, 8.1, 10) and Linux SUSE SLED11.
- To participate in IT projects and provide first-level support.
Skills:
- System/Network Troubleshooting skills.
- Good Communication skills

Position: Network Engineer
Eligibility: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering / Computer Science from a recognized university.
Experience: 1 to 2 years relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and ensure network uptime of Meezan Bank Infrastructure.
- Configuration of network devices (Router, Firewall, Switches, etc.).
- Coordination with service owner and vendors for network related issues escalation.
- Participate in daily-basis network operations.
- Ensure that network SOPs are properly followed.
Skills:
- Good communication skills, knowledge of networking (Routing, Switching & VOIP)
- Hands-on experience in network devices i.e .Router, switches, firewall and IP telephony. Network related certification will be preferred
