Lucky Core Industries Limited is hiring a Manager Shipping for its Shipping team based in Karachi.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Verify duties and taxes by ensuring accurate HS code classification and maximising benefits from applicable concessionary SROs and other customs clearance charges.
- Expertise in goods classification and regulatory compliance.
- Manage Show Cause Notices and coordinate with legal counsel for effective resolution.
- Maintain strong liaison with Customs, DPP, Port Terminals, Shipping Lines, — Clearing agents, transporters, and internal teams including Supply Chain and Finance.
- Oversee the handling of project and bulk shipments, ensuring efficient clearance and logistics.
- Negotiate with Freight Forwarders and Shipping Lines for optimal Import (FOB) and Export shipment terms.
Key Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of product classification, customs regulations, SROs, and the Import/Export Policy Order.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs clearance within the industrial sector.
- Proven expertise in managing project and bulk shipments.
- Strong understanding of PSW, EFS, and FI instruments.
- Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
- Effective stakeholder management with strong negotiation skills.
