POSITIONS VACANT: Online applications are invited on prescribed form for the following project based positions at Government Technical & Vocational Centre (Boys) Matta Swat, Yar Hussain Swabi and Dara Ismail Khan from the bona-fide residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and Newly Merged Districts:

Positions:

S. No 1: Instructor Hospitality & Tourism (PPS-17)

Salary: Rs. 120,000/-
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years education) or Equivalent in Hotel/Restaurant Management OR Food, Beverage and Culinary Arts Management OR Professional qualification recognized by HEC.
- Purpose: To impart competency-based technical and vocational education and training (CBTVET) in Hospitality & Tourism trade in accordance with the National Vocational Qualifications Framework (NVQF) competency standards and curriculum, enabling learners to acquire industry-relevant knowledge, practical skill, and professional attitude, and employments/entrepreneurship.
- Professional Skills: Strong knowledge of hospitality operations; Proficiency in front and back-office operations; Competency-Based Training (CBT) methodology; Competency-based assessment; Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Age Limit: 22 to 35 Years

S. No 2: Instructor Information Technology (PPS-17)

Salary: Rs. 120,000/-
- No. of Posts: 1
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years education) in Computer Science/IT/related discipline from a recognized university by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Purpose: To deliver competency-based technical and vocational education and training (CBTVET) in Information Technology in accordance with the National Vocational Qualifications Framework (NVQF) competency standards and approved curricula. The incumbent shall deliver theoretical instruction, conduct laboratory training, project-based learning and competency-based assessment in emerging and modern-day IT technologies to produce industry-ready professionals capable of meeting national and international workforce requirements.
- Professional Skills: Strong knowledge of modern software development technologies; Proficiency in database management and data operations; Understanding of network administrative skills and cybersecurity fundamentals; Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Age Limit: 22 to 35 Years

S. No 3: Instructor Agribusiness (PPS-17)

Salary: Rs. 120,000/-
- No. of Posts: 3
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years education) in Agriculture (B.Sc. Hons) Agriculture/Engineering, Farm Machinery & Power, or another relevant agriculture discipline from a university recognized by HEC.
- Purpose: To deliver competency-based technical and vocational education and training (CBTVET) in Agricultural trades in accordance with the National Vocational Qualifications Framework (NVQF) competency standards and approved curricula. The incumbent shall provide theoretical instruction, practical demonstration, and field training on modern agricultural techniques, crop production and management, horticulture, plant protection, farm mechanization, agriculture machinery operation, and smart agricultural technologies to prepare trainees for modern agricultural workforce requirements and industrial/entrepreneurship requirements.
- Professional Skills: Deliver competency-based training/agriculture training instruction in accordance with NVQF approved curricula and competency standards; Prepare weekly and daily lesson plans, practical work sheets and instructional material; Conduct classes, practical demonstrations, workshop sessions and field demonstration; Supervise trainees during practical works and ensure utilization of consumables and equipment.
- Age Limit: 22 to 35 Years

S. No 4: Junior Instructor Hospitality & Tourism (PPS-15)

Salary: Rs. 50,000/-
- No. of Posts: 2
- Qualification: DAE (3-Years) in Hotel Management/Food Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/Institution.
- Purpose: To assist in delivering competency-based technical and vocational training in Hospitality & Tourism trade under the supervision of the Instructor, ensuring trainees practice skill development in accordance with NVQF approved competency standards and curriculum.
- Professional Skills: Basic knowledge of hotel operations; Proficiency in front-end kitchen and food service; Operations in kitchen & bakery skills; Peer-to-peer training skills.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years

S. No 5: Junior Instructor Information Technology (PPS-15)

Salary: Rs. 50,000/-
- No. of Posts: 2
- Qualification: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent from recognized board.
- Purpose: To assist in delivering competency-based technical and vocational education and training (CBTVET) in Information Technology in accordance with National Vocational Qualifications Framework (NVQF) competency standards, curricula and approved course material to prepare trainees for employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship in the IT industry.
- Professional Skills: Assist Instructor in demonstrating equipment, board theoretical and practical training on Information Systems; Conduct practical laboratory sessions, guiding trainees and technical demonstrations under the supervision of the Instructor; Assist in preparing lesson plans, laboratory manuals, practical assignments and competency-based assessment tools; Supervise trainees during coding projects, assignments and capstone projects.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years

S. No 6: Junior Instructor Agribusiness (PPS-15)

Salary: Rs. 50,000/-
- No. of Posts: 2
- Qualification: DAE or Post Matric Diploma in Agricultural Technology, Farm Machinery, Agricultural Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant Board of Technical Education.
- Purpose: To assist in delivering competency-based technical and vocational education and training (CBTVET) in Agricultural trade by conducting practical training, demonstrations, laboratory and field activities, material preparations, laboratory setup, demonstration farms, and supporting competency-based assessment in accordance with NVQF competency standards and curriculum under the guidance of Senior Instructor/Instructor.
- Professional Skills: Assist the Instructor in delivering competency-based theoretical and practical training in Agribusiness trades; Prepare laboratories, workshops, machinery, demonstration plots, nurseries and agricultural fields for practical classes; Assist in competency-based assessment, maintain trainees’ records/progress logs; Maintain trainee attendance, practical records, equipment consumable and non-consumables.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years

S. No 7: Shop Assistant (PPS-7)

Trades: Hospitality & Tourism (02 Posts) | Information Technology (02 Posts) | Agribusiness (02 Posts)
- Salary: Rs. 35,000/-
- Total No. of Posts: 6
- Qualification: Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board with 01 Year Course in the relevant trade OR Matric/Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board with Trade Certificate from a recognized institute in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
- Purpose: To assist Instructors in conducting practical training.
- Professional Skills: Arrange and issue tools, equipment, materials, and training materials during the practical sessions; Maintain inventory register, stock records and safety aspects of training store, equipment and consumables.
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Appointment shall be made purely on project basis for a period of two (02) years as per Project Policy Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The selected candidates shall not claim any right of permanent recruitment / regularization in any Court of Law based on this engagement in any institute under KP-TEVTA.
Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. However, detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority and if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority.
All the candidates will be required to create profile on ETEA’s website. After creating the profile and before applying/accounting for any post, such candidates will have to print deposit slip/token from ETEA’s website and pay their test fee structure from any UBL Omni/e-Sahulat franchise/EasyPaisa/JazzCash. On authentication, candidate will submit online application for post.
Candidates qualifying the ETEA test shall subsequently be screened for eligibility in terms of eligibility criteria.
Interview letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
Merit will be determined on the basis of ETEA test and other tests as per Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Project Policy.
Candidates should be eligible in all respects before or by the last date of receipt of the applications.
Applications received after due dates will not be entertained. Incomplete applications, applications submitted without fake/documentary information shall be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.
Degrees / Diploma / Experience Certificates / Testimonials of unrecognized institution will not be accepted.
Relaxation of age will be admissible as per existing Govt. Rules.
The candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies should apply through proper channel. Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with application fee.
No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
In case of foreign degree, equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided.
Errors/Omissions in number of posts are subject to rectification.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidates may visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the posts online.
After successful submission of online application, a prescribed online deposit slip (having token number, Project code & candidates’ personal information) will be generated.
Take a printout of the generated deposit slip & deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through EasyPaisa, UBL Omni agent or any branch of UBL Bank.
After successful fee submission, please keep the original deposit slip / candidate copy having bank user stamp with yourself and do not share it with anyone else.
After online apply, don’t send docs/mats/testimonials to ETEA office, copies of testimonial/documents will however be provided by the candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when required by the Appointing Authority for scrutiny purpose.
Availability of online Application Form on www.etea.edu.pk on 5th September, 2026.
Last date for submission of Online Application is 20th September, 2026.
Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates are directed to not give ported/change topic mobile number.
Test Date, Time & Venue will be communicated on Roll No. Slip.
No separate Call Letter will be issued to candidates for screening test / interview except through website.
