ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF STAFF

Directorate General of Fisheries, Punjab intends to recruit the following temporary posts for the Project “GIS Based Protection Regime & Digital Communication Cell” for a period of 03 years (extendable)

1. Project Director/Focal Person (BS-20)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Master’s degree (2nd division) in Fisheries or equivalent, OR BSc (Hons) Fisheries (2nd division). 15 years experience in Fisheries, OR 20 years in a relevant senior position, OR Retired Col./equivalent from Armed Forces. Experience in research reports, project planning, monitoring, evaluation, management, strong leadership and communication skills.
Age Limit: 45-55 years
Initial Pay: PKR 400,000/-
Domicile: Anywhere in Punjab

2. Deputy Director (Fisheries) (BS-18)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Master’s degree (2nd division) in Zoology with Fisheries specialization or equivalent, OR BSc (Hons) Fisheries (2nd division). 10 years experience in Fisheries.
Age Limit: 35-50 years
Initial Pay: PKR 250,000/-

3. Assistant Director (Fisheries) (BS-17)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Master’s degree (2nd division) in Zoology with Fisheries specialization or equivalent, OR BSc (Hons) Fisheries (2nd division). 5 years experience in Fisheries.
Age Limit: 30-45 years
Initial Pay: PKR 150,000/-

4. Fisheries Development Officer (BS-17)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Master’s degree (2nd division) in Zoology with Fisheries specialization or equivalent, OR BSc (Hons) Fisheries (2nd division). 5 years experience in Fisheries.
Age Limit: 30-45 years

5. Assistant Director (IT) (BS-17)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Master’s in Computer Science/IT (2nd division) with 5 years experience in software development and database administration, OR BSc/BIT (2nd division) with 10 years experience in software development.

6. GIS Analyst (BS-16)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Master’s in GIS/Remote Sensing or Geography (2nd division) with 3 years experience in GIS software, OR MSc/BSc in Geography (2nd division) with 5 years experience in GIS software.
Age Limit: 25-40 years

7. Accountant (BS-16)

9. Computer Operator (BS-14)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT (2nd division), OR Intermediate (2nd division) with Diploma in Computer Science and 5 years experience.
Age Limit: 25-35 years
Initial Pay: PKR 75,000/-

10. IT Helper (BS-11)

Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications & Experience: Intermediate (2nd division) with Diploma in Computer Science and two years experience.
Age Limit: 22-35 years
Initial Pay: PKR 50,000/-
Domicile: Anywhere in Punjab

Terms and Conditions:

The appointments will be made purely on a temporary basis and will be for a fixed term of three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
The age limit will be relaxed as per Government rules.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
The last date for submission of applications is 15 days after the date of publication of this advertisement.

The Directorate General of Fisheries, Punjab reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
