Position: Engineer Design- Rotary Equipment
Location: Descon HQ-Lahore
Education: B.E Mechanical
Experience: 08 or plus Years of experience in Rotary Equipment design in a Design or EPC Company
Job Description:
Undertake design and engineering of rotary mechanical equipment and packaged equipment, such as;
Development of equipment data sheets and detailed specifications.
Sizing and selection of steam turbines, pumps, other rotating machines and packaged equipment e.g Boiler & Turbines Packages, Water Treatment and Chemical Dosage Packages etc.
Design and specification of interfaces.
Review of vendor documents and technical bid evaluations.
Candidates having the Maintenance experience of Rotary Equipment (Gas/ Steam Turbines, Compressors & Pumps) can also apply for the said position who want to excel their carrier in Engineering Design.

Position: Lead Design (Piping)
Education: B.E Mechanical / Chemical
Location: Descon Headquarters (Lahore)
Required Experience: 08 Years
The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following.
Functioning as lead piping engineer on projects / proposals.
Supervising and leading a team of piping engineers, designers to execute the tasks and preparing the deliverables ensuring optimum quality, on-time and within budget delivery.
Performing engineering calculations, doing stress analysis, generating specifications / RFQs, managing technical bid clarifications with vendors, and reviewing the final vendor documents.
Providing quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Providing technical expertise and able to present complex technical solutions to clients.
Developing task and deliverable list with associated hours estimate and schedule to support business development activities.
Support projects through complete life cycle including the feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue for bid, construction, start-up and commissioning.
Collaborate with multi-discipline technical leads to integrate piping across the full spectrum of project.
