We Are HIRING Cost Controller / Cost Auditor
Towellers Limited, a well-established textile manufacturer and exporter, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Cost Controller / Cost Auditor to join our Finance & Accounts team.
Position: Cost Controller / Cost Auditor
Qualification: ACMA / Part-Qualified ACMA
Industry: Textile Manufacturing & Export
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze product-wise and process-wise costing.
- Calculate and monitor manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labour and factory overheads.
- Prepare cost sheets and analyze variances against standards and budgets.
- Conduct regular cost audits and identify areas for cost control and improvement.
- Monitor production costs across different manufacturing units and processes.
- Analyze material consumption, wastage, efficiency and yield.
- Prepare pre-shipment cost budgets and conduct post-shipment cost analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Reconcile production and costing data with financial records.
- Provide management with accurate and timely cost analysis and reports.
- Ensure proper costing controls and compliance with applicable accounting and audit requirements.
- Conducting time motion study and creating standard labor hours.
- Assisting in implementation of production modules of ERP.
- Overseeing inventory controls and reporting related inefficiencies.
- Monitoring resource allocations.
- Prepare job order cost sheet.
- Monitoring actual consumptions against bill of materials and reporting variances.
Candidate Profile
- ACMA qualified or Part-Qualified ACMA.
- Relevant experience in textile manufacturing, garments, home textiles or other manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing costing and cost audit.
- Good command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with Production, Stores, Planning and Finance departments.
