Assistant Manager Secondary – Electrical
The ideal candidate should have the following qualification, experience and skill sets:
- BE in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or relevant field.
- Min Experience, 10 years of experience in electrical secondary maintenance and repair work.
- Experience working in large-capacity power plants (e.g., 300 MW and above) is preferred.
- Familiarity with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methods;
- Experience leading teams in maintenance and repair work.
- Proficient in the principles of generator transformer protection, line protection, busbar protection, commissioning and maintenance processes, and testing standards.
- Proficient in the principles and maintenance processes of automatic devices.
- Proficient in electrical measurement, network communication equipment inspection, and commissioning methods.
- Capable of monitoring the operational status of electrical secondary equipment and analyzing and judging abnormalities.
- Capable of emergency response to abnormal equipment in critical situations.
The main responsibilities of the position will involve:
- Monitor and inspect the operating status of secondary equipment during operation to ensure smooth operation. Develop annual maintenance plans and technical supervision projects
- Lead equipment anomaly analysis and propose technical improvement plans.
- Responsible for quality control and management of on-site equipment maintenance and repair.
- Responsible for reviewing safety measures for high-risk work.
- Manage spare parts for secondary equipment and submit requests, monitor inventory levels of critical equipment spare parts and usage of emergency spare parts.
- Manage secondary equipment, technical operations, and maintain technical records to ensure safe, economical, and stable operation of the unit.
- Conduct emergency drills and respond to equipment-related incidents.
- Train department personnel on electrical secondary equipment.

Officer/Technician DCS Main Control – Instrument & Control
The ideal candidate should have the following qualification, experience and skill sets:
- DAE in Instrumentation, Electronics, Automation or related field. Specialized training or certification in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), preferably Ovation or DEH (Mark VIe/VIes).
- 5 years of hands-on experience in DCS system maintenance in a thermal power plant or similar automated.
- Familiarity with industrial networking, I/O systems, and system backups is an advantage
- Proven experience in loop checking, logic troubleshooting, controller replacement, and system diagnostics.
- Exposure to control system upgrades, backups, and redundancy testing.
- Strong ability to diagnose and resolve faults in DCS controllers, I/O modules, communication networks, and related hardware.
- Proficiency in logic interpretation, parameter tuning, and signal testing in DEH and Ovation platforms. Able to read and interpret system configuration files, logic diagrams, wiring drawings, and P&IDs.
- Familiar with loop calibration procedures, control interlocks, and plant startup/shutdown sequences.
The main responsibilities of the position will involve:
- Perform inspection, diagnostics, and replacement of DCS hardware components including controllers, I/O modules, power supplies, and communication cards.
- Carry out loop checking, logic verification, and signal testing during routine maintenance and plant outages.
- Assist with backup, restoration, and software upgrades for Ovation DCS and DEH (Mark VIe and Mark VIes) systems.
- Troubleshoot DCS-PLC communication issues and network faults in auxiliary and unit-level control cabinets.
- Support parameter tuning and logic modification under engineering supervision.
- Monitor and analyze controller and system logs for early detection of hardware or software anomalies.
- Assist in addressing synchronization, redundancy, or failover issues between redundant controllers.
- Maintain updated documentation of logic diagrams, system configuration, and equipment status.
