𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: Purchase Officer (Outdoor Purchase)
𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 & 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭:
Manage outdoor purchasing activities, including sourcing vendors, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and terms and processing Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.
Coordinate with vendors for order placement, follow-ups, timely deliveries, and resolution of purchase-related issues, including quality concerns, short deliveries, price discrepancies and delays.
Conduct market surveys and supplier evaluations to monitor market rates, product availability, lead times and identify reliable and cost-effective sourcing options.
Coordinate with Stores, Accounts, Production and other departments to ensure purchases meet approved specifications, quality, quantity, budget and company procurement policies while maintaining complete purchase documentation.
𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the same position, preferably in a reputed garment manufacturing factory.
- Must have good knowledge of Karachi’s local markets, routes and supplier network.
- Apply technical knowledge of products/materials to evaluate suppliers, market rates and product availability.
- Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiate competitive rates and terms and ensure effective follow-up and coordination.
- Utilize MS Office and maintain accurate purchase documentation to support efficient procurement activities.
