AL-FEROZ GROUP IS LOOKING FOR SENIOR BUYER FOR KARACHI OFFICE
JOB ROLE
- Conduct market research, supplier identification and prequalification for assigned categories.
- Issue RFQs, obtain quotations and prepare commercial comparison statements.
- Coordinate vendor clarifications.
- Prepare purchase orders and supporting procurement documentation.
- Follow up manufacturing, inspections, delivery commitments and pending vendor actions.
- Maintain procurement records, trackers and package documentation.
- Support commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favourable terms and timely delivery.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, conduct price benchmarking and provide recommendations based on commercial and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with project, technical, finance and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely closure of procurement packages and resolution of vendor-related issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in local & import procurement, sourcing, buying, or commercial functions.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, including market research, RFQs, supplier prequalification, quotation evaluation, negotiations, and purchase orders.
- Experience in procurement for construction, hospitality, real estate, high-rise, healthcare, will be an added advantage.
