Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Indirect Procurement Buyer – Corporate Services to lead strategic sourcing, optimize procurement across indirect categories, and drive cost efficiency and value creation in alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies for Marketing, Media, Professional Services, Research, Events, and other indirect procurement categories in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract management in collaboration with relevant functions.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-creation opportunities through demand management, supplier consolidation, specification optimization, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives.
- Build strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance through KPIs, business reviews, governance mechanisms, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SAP processes, delegated authority, contract requirements, and governance standards while managing procurement-related risks.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business and commercial objectives and identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
- Support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives across relevant procurement categories.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in category management or strategic sourcing within in-direct procurement
- Strong expertise in category strategy, commercial negotiations, supplier management, and contract management
- Proven ability to deliver cost savings, value creation, and improved supplier performance
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills with a focus on commercial satisfaction
- Sound understanding of procurement governance, risk management, compliance, and responsible sourcing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills
