Job Summary:

The University of South Asia is seeking a diligent and motivated Recovery Account Officer to join our Finance team.

The Recovery Account Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient recovery of outstanding student fees and student accounts while maintaining positive relationships with students and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and manage a portfolio of outstanding student accounts.
2. Contact students and responsible parties to collect overdue payments through phone, email, written correspondence and in campus.
3. Provide clear and accurate information to students regarding their accounts, payment options, and financial responsibilities.
4. Collaborate with other departments to resolve account discrepancies and ensure accurate billing.
5. Monitor and report on the status of outstanding accounts and fee recovery efforts.
6. Maintain detailed records of all interactions and communications related to fee recovery.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of fee collection strategies.
8. Handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion.

Qualifications:

a. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

b. Proven experience in debt recovery or a similar financial role.

c. Good communication skills.

d. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

e. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.

f. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
