Team Lead Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
Key Accountabilities:
- To assist the Head of SHE in implementation of Co.’s SHE agenda to ensure zero harm to man, machine, and environment.
- Implementation of Co.’s Health & Safety Plans to reduce injuries, fires, equipment damages and minimize workplace hazards & risks.
- Ensure compliance of SHE Policies, Standards, and applicable laws at the workplace.
- Plan & Implement Preventive Care SHE Programs e.g. Compliance and Performance Monitoring of SHE Mgmt Systems, Facilities & Process Audits, Risk Assessments, Hazard Identification and Control, Staff’s Trainings & Awareness, Effective Incident Management/Controls, Behavior Based Safety Plans, Health & Safety Management Systems, Emergency Response and drive continuous improvement.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
- B.E. in Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical. M.E./MS preferred.
- 8+ years experience in a manufacturing setup with at least 05 years in a similar role, including 03 years experience in a Team Lead position/role.
- Certifications: IOSH Managing Safety or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
- Must have knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety Management and Environmental Management.
- Hands-on experience of OSHA PSM elements with proven record of development & implementation of Safety Processes, International Safety Standards (NFPA/NEBOSH/ISO) requirements, and relevant Federal/Provincial Laws.
- Strong leadership qualities: decision-making, change catalyst, proactive, highly collaborative, attention to detail, motivated, consistent, disciplined approach, inclusive mindset, strong data analytical / statistical skills.
