Roshan Packages Limited is looking to hire a Deputy Manager in Procurement for its plant located at Sundar Industrial Area. The candidate will be responsible and accountable for all sorts of direct Material Purchases from the source.
Role and Responsibilities
Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
Preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
Preparing reports as and when required.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or business administration
Proven experience in managing supply chain operations for at least 08-10 Years.
Experience in using supply chain management software and tools, including SAP.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Management and leadership skills.
