Position : IT Support Assistant
We’re hiring an IT Support Assistant to provide first-level technical support and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic IT support for hardware, software, and system issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Log, track, and update support tickets in the service desk system
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT support staff when required
- Support user onboarding/offboarding and maintain IT asset records
- Assist in routine system checks, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and information security guidelines
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support or technical assistance
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and email systems
- Understanding of hardware, printers, peripherals, and basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi)
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (preferred)
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
