VACANCY ANNOUCEMENT: ACCOUNTANT
Murree Brewery Company Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts Team in Rawalpindi.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify and process trade liabilities and related payments.
- Prepare Import Cost Sheets and ensure accurate valuation and accounting of import- related transactions.
- Perform vouching, account reconciliations and review of accounting records. Handle and review tax-related matters, including deductions, documentation and compliance requirements.
- Support internal/external audits, stock verification and financial control activities.
- Prepare and review accounting vouchers, adjustment entries and financial reports, along with other assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
- BBA/MBA/M.COM/ BS Accounting & Finance /ACCA
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, vouching and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
