Midas Safety is currently hiring an Assistant Manager – Commercial Finance to support commercial finance operations, drive financial reporting accuracy, and ensure compliance across international entities
Location: Karachi
Requirements:
- ACCA (Qualified) or MBA.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, FP&A, pricing, product costing, or business analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential, including experience in complex financial modelling, large-data analysis, automation, Macros, and VBA.
Eligibility:
Finance professionals with strong experience in commercial finance, financial analysis, pricing, product costing, and profitability analysis. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in advanced Excel and VBA, comfortable working with large datasets, and capable of using AI and automation tools to improve the quality, speed, and depth of financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex financial, sales, operational, and customer datasets and convert them into meaningful information, trends, and actionable insights for management.
- Develop advanced analytical models, automated reports, dashboards, and tools using Excel, VBA, AI, and other relevant technologies.
- Work closely and maintain regular coordination with key members of the Sales and Commercial teams to understand business developments, analyze performance, and provide financial support for decision-making.
- Analyze sales performance by customer, product, market, and region, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct detailed product costing and profitability analysis, including the impact of changes in raw materials, manufacturing costs, freight, and other cost components.
- Support pricing decisions through detailed analysis of CM%, profitability, cost movements, price changes, and customer-specific commercial requirements.
- Perform detailed rebate calculations and analysis, including assessment of rebate structures, customer eligibility, sales volumes, payment performance, and the overall impact on customer and product profitability.
- Validate sales performance data, including sales achievement, incentives, and other relevant commercial KPIs.
- Prepare management reports and presentations focused on key insights, trends, risks, and recommended actions rather than simply reporting financial data.
