Who are we looking for?
- Preferably Master’s in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Agriculture, Banking or Accounting from an HEC recognized / overseas university.
- Total experience over 10-years in the field of Collections and Recovery, along with minimum 6-years of managing a team in Financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage repossession drive for vehicle/tractor financing (borrowers & ex-staff).
- Onboard and coordinate with repossession agencies region-wise.
- Assign and follow up on overdue/charge-off cases for asset recovery.
- Liaise with police, LEAs, motor registration, and internal departments.
- Monitor portfolio, control slippages, and track performance.
- Develop and implement recovery strategies to meet targets.
- Ensure fraud prevention and policy/regulatory compliance (MFB/PRs).
- Handle customer complaints and queries within TAT.
- Supervise recovery staff and ensure productivity standards.
- Maintain reporting, stakeholder updates, and infrastructure readiness.
Skills:
- Experienced in write-off portfolio management with strong knowledge of credit products and SBP fair debt collection policies.
- Ethical, customer-focused professional with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Proactive, assertive team player with strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities; highly punctual and results-driven.

This job plays a vital role in managing the steps to recover debts from the customer. The position mainly involves monitoring the performance of all the down the line staff that includes tele-callers, field officer, recovery officers and Area Coordinator / Team Lead to make sure that recovery of that region is meeting the organizational goals.
Job Description:
1: Business Growth
Demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage and motivate recovery teams for effective debt resolution.
Develop and implement innovative strategies and techniques to maximize recovery outcomes.
Monitor and ensure optimal utilization of Areas/Branches team to meet desired productivity targets.
Ensure appropriate use of tools and policies within strict compliance and control frameworks.
Build and maintain a well-trained team with strong understanding of processes, policies, and recovery practices.
Share critical MIS reports and analysis with teams for alignment and performance tracking.
Ensure adherence to banking processes and customer service standards.
Ensure clear and effective communication to align teams with management objectives, recovery priorities, and incentive/reward structures, through regular alignment sessions, ensuring 100% staff coverage, and tracking improvement in performance metrics and target achievement post-communication.
2: Portfolio Management
Ensure to adopt fraud prevention aspect by applying necessary monitoring measures among the areas.
3: Service Quality
Address customer complaints in line with KMBL complaint handling guidelines.
Ensure that all Customer Services related complains/ queries to be resolved within TAT.
4: Compliance
To look after the performance of all the recovery staff (Tele-Callers, Officers, Team Leads and Area Managers/Supervisors).
Liaison between the management and down the line staff.
Required Education & Experience:
Preferably Master’s in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Agriculture, Banking or Accounting from an HEC recognized / overseas university.
Minimum 15 years of experience within a financial institution/bank across Collection, Recovery, SAM, and Debt Management, including at least 6 years in a mid-senior management role.
Skills:
- Write-Off/Debt/NPL Portfolio Management.
- Exhibits and upholds highest ethical, integrity and social performance values.
- Well organized with excellent communication & time management skills.
- Customer focused and good understanding of SBP’s Fair Debt collection policies.
- Strong understanding of banking products especially credit products.
- Knowledge of Banking Laws and Practices along understanding of lending practices.
