Position: Marine Claims Analyst (Karachi)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the processing and settlement of Marine Claims, including General Average and Export Cargo Claims, in coordination with the concerned branches and departments.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, surveyors, branches, zonal offices, and other relevant stakeholders regarding Marine Claims matters.
- Assist with claims related to Export Cargo, General Average, and Letter of Credit (LC) renewals, including responding to queries from banks and relevant authorities.
- Prepare and maintain claim documentation, approval letters, requisition slips, and other claims-related records as required.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and other periodic claims reports and returns for submission to the relevant departments.
- Liaise with Claims Settling Agents and other external parties regarding Marine Claims and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Coordinate with the IT Department/vendor regarding Marine Claims systems and assist in resolving system or process-related issues.
- Perform any other Marine Claims-related activities assigned by the Unit Head / Head of Claims.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university or a reputable foreign university.
- Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in Marine Claims/Underwriting or a related field.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data and prepare periodic claims MIS.
- Skills: Good communication, interpersonal, coordination, and analytical skills.

Position: Motor Claims Analyst (Karachi)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with clients, branches, surveyors, and relevant departments for the processing, registration, checking, and settlement of claims, including theft and co-insurance claims.
- Coordinate with the Reinsurance Department for Motor Excess of Loss (XOL) and Facultative recoveries, and prepare relevant claim/reinsurance requisitions.
- Liaise with the Motor Recovery Department and law enforcement agencies to ensure timely recovery of stolen vehicles.
- Assist the Unit Head – Claims with Export Cargo Claims, General Average, and LC renewals.
- Ensure timely registration and processing of claims in iGIS, resolve system-related issues with IT, and prepare approvals, claim requisitions, and payment/salvage requisitions.
- Follow up with clients, branches, and surveyors for outstanding claims and prompt issuance of survey reports, and maintain updated claim files and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors and the Finance Department on branch-related claims matters and claims data reconciliation.
- Perform any other claims-related activities assigned by the Unit Head(s).
