Ismail Industries Limited is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manager – Production to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure production plan compliance, and maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency across the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise shift-by-shift manufacturing operations, including mixing, forming, baking, cooling, and primary and secondary packaging, to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure daily and weekly production schedules are executed in line with supply chain requirements to maintain plan compliance and avoid stockouts.
- Enforce adherence to GMP, HACCP, and applicable global food safety standards such as BRCGS and SQF, while collaborating with QA/QC to minimize defects, maintain weight control, and prevent batch variations.
- Manage daily labor allocation, shift handovers, attendance, and administrative documentation while ensuring accurate and timely production logs and ERP entries.
- Maintain high health and safety standards across production lines and promptly address line hazards and safety protocol breaches.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science & Technology, or a related field
- 8–10 years of food manufacturing experience, with 5+ years in a production leadership role, preferably in bakery/biscuits production
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial baking machinery and manufacturing processes
- Strong crisis management, tactical decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in manufacturing ERP software with sound understanding of daily operations, production planning, quality control, and plant administration
