SENIOR / SYSTEM ENGINEER – BROADCAST IT | KARACHI
Express Media Group is seeking a competent Senior/System Engineer – Broadcast IT to support and maintain mission-critical broadcast systems, ensuring uninterrupted 24×7 on-air and newsroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and support Broadcast IT systems in live, production, and newsroom environments.
-Maintain and support Playout, Graphics, Newsroom System, Editing, and MOS-based broadcast workflows.
-Troubleshoot and resolve broadcast system issues under time-critical, on-air conditions.
-Perform system configurations, upgrades, and routine maintenance of broadcast platforms.
-Provide technical support during shifts and participate in 24×7 broadcast operations, including weekends and holidays.
-Coordinate with engineering teams and vendors for fault resolution and system stability.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in IT, Broadcast Engineering, or a related field.
-3–5 years of hands-on experience in Broadcast IT environments.
-Strong understanding of broadcast systems, workflows, and newsroom integrations.
-Ability to work in rotating shifts and handle high-pressure live broadcast situations.
-Good troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
