Skill Set Required:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in site reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Experience in SOA and microservices architectural patterns and best practices.
• Solid experience in Python development.
• Basic knowledge in shell scripting is required.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience in JIRA management tool, defect cycle, defect priority and triage.
• Solid understanding and experience working with AWS and its services.
• Experience in databases and SQL. This includes knowledge in database design, as well as the capability of writing and executing queries and procedures.
• Experience in git source control.
• Experience in CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
Main Responsibilities:
• Run the production environment by monitoring, managing, and controlling the IT infrastructure ensuring that the IT services are delivered according to the company’s policies, requirements, and performance standards.
• Build software and systems to manage and monitor platform infrastructure and applications.
• Measure and optimize system capabilities ahead of customer needs.
• Provide operational support for our distributed software system and applications.
• Evaluate insightful metrics and help the company to align SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs with service levels defined as optimal within the company.
• Help in the evolution of automation, specially in the monitoring and alarming areas.
• Conduct post-incident reviews.
