Position: Fire Fighter
Dewan Cement Limited – Karachi Plant is looking for a responsible and safety-focused Fire Fighter to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to fire and emergency situations.
- Operate and maintain firefighting equipment and systems.
- Conduct routine inspection of fire & safety equipment.
- Support fire drills, emergency preparedness and safety awareness activities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and fire safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Relevant firefighting / fire & safety certification preferred.
- Experience in industrial firefighting, preferably in a manufacturing or cement plant.
- Physically fit and capable of working in shifts.
- Good understanding of emergency response and fire prevention practices.

Position: Traffic Inspector
Location: Karachi Plant
Shift: Rotational
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and regulate truck/vehicle movement within the plant
- Manage vehicle queuing, sequencing and designated parking
- Ensure compliance with approved routes and speed limits
- Coordinate with weighbridge and loading/dispatch teams
- Prevent unsafe or unauthorized vehicle movement
- Monitor traffic during peak hours and emergencies
- Maintain vehicle movement records and report violations/unsafe behavior
Requirements:
- Matric / Intermediate
- Experience in traffic control, security or logistics coordination preferred
- Good communication and ability to manage vehicle movement in a busy plant environment

Position: Guard (Truck Movement Control)
Dewan Cement Limited – Karachi Plant is looking for a Guard – Truck Movement Control to manage safe & orderly truck movement within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and control truck movement at gates, internal roads & parking
- Manage truck parking, queuing and sequencing
- Regulate movement toward weighbridge, loading area and exit gate
- Assist in preventing congestion during peak hours
- Ensure trucks do not reverse, overtake or maneuver without a spotter
- Maintain basic truck movement records
- Report movement violations, blocked lanes and parking issues
- Ensure smooth and safe exit of loaded trucks
- Properly hand over shift status to the incoming Guard
Requirements:
- Matric
- Prior experience in traffic/vehicle movement control, dispatch yard or logistics coordination preferred
- Good communication and ability to manage truck movement safely

Position: Vehicle Safety Inspector
Dewan Cement Limited – Karachi Plant is looking for a Safety Inspector to support vehicle and loading safety within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect trucks/vehicles for roadworthiness and safety compliance
- Check tyres, brakes, lights, mirrors, leaks, fire extinguisher & driver documents
- Reject or flag unsafe vehicles for corrective action
- Verify driver fitness and monitor safe loading practices
- Ensure proper load securing and weight compliance
- Conduct final safety checks before vehicle exit
- Record inspection findings and support vehicle-related incident investigations
Requirements:
- Matric / Intermediate
- Diploma in Safety/HSE preferred
- Mechanical/Automobile background will be an advantage
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
