Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is seeking a dedicated and versatile Coordinator for Special Initiatives to oversee and manage key projects, events, and partnerships that contribute to the university’s strategic objectives and enrich student life. This role includes coordinating flagship programs, managing high-impact events, overseeing academic partnerships and exchange programs, and facilitating student scholarship initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, an aptitude for collaboration, and a passion for enhancing both academic and extracurricular
experiences at BNU.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Research and Strategic Initiatives
Conduct and analyze research to support academic and strategic goals.
Collaborate with faculty, students, and researchers to identify opportunities and promote academic excellence.
Generate reports to inform decision-making for university leadership.
2-Project and Event Management
Lead major programs like Summer School and Zero Week, overseeing planning, execution, and assessment.
Organize key student events (Bestival, Annual Awards, Distinguished Lecture Series) and manage student societies.
Handle logistics, operations, and financial aspects of events.
3-Academic Partnerships and Scholarships
Manage academic partnerships and student exchange programs globally.
Serve as a liaison between BNU, partner institutions, and students.
4-Cross-Functional Coordination
Facilitate communication and collaboration across university departments and external stakeholders.
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events to support university projects.
5-Data Management and Analysis
Oversee data management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Generate performance reports to inform strategic decisions and optimize outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Project Management, MBA, Social Sciences or relevant field.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in research, project management, event coordination, and partnership management within an academic or research-focused environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, students, and external partners.
Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Adaptability and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, showing flexibility and initiative in a team setting.
