BachaaParty is looking to hire a skilled and experienced candidate for the position of 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭.
Responsibilities:
o Develop and implement a robust audit framework for retail operations, pre-audit, post-audit, and fabric inspections.
o Align internal audit processes with the company’s goals, mission, and vision to enhance transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
o Ensure the audit strategy proactively identifies and mitigates risks, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.
o Oversee pre-audit reviews to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal controls before transactions or procurements are finalized.
o Lead post-audit evaluations to verify the integrity of processes, detect irregularities, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
o Supervise audits related to fabric procurement, usage, and quality compliance to minimize waste and ensure product standards are met.
o Ensure the organization complies with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
o Prepare detailed audit reports and dashboards, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations for the top management.
o Ensure timely follow-up on audit findings and track resolution progress.
o Prepare and present detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations to the Directors and COO.
o Maintain open communication with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
o Provide advisory support on internal control improvements and process optimization.
o Lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth.
o Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
Requirements:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CIA, ACCA, or CA is preferred.
o Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in auditing, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
o Strong understanding of internal auditing standards, risk management, and corporate governance principles.
o Strategic thinker with the ability to align audit activities with organizational goals.
o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
o Integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
