Pakistan’s biggest kids store – Bachaa Party (Retail Industry) is looking to hire an energetic and skilled person for the position of Manager Quality Control. The details are mentioned below.
Location: Karachi
Job Roles:
- Manager and mentor Technical Designers Team.
- Development of 1st Pattern thru production and while maintain brands integrity.
- Knowledge of garments construction, fit and pattern making.
- Maintain brand integrity throughout fit, upholding construction standards, sizing and styling.
- Manages the measuring and preparation of samples from development thru production.
- Conduct fit evaluation sessions on live models to analyze balance proportion of fit.
- Document and deliver clear communication thru comments / specs/ diagrams/ photos.
- Recommend for garment construction and fit to continually improve and produce best results of brand.
- Making size charts as per Brand standards.
- Solution-oriented and exceptional problem-solving techniques.
- Ensure seasonal deadlines are met.
- Established Block Patterns, Product Manual and Quality Manual for Production & Quality Team.
- The ability to build standard blocks in accordance to company’s image to maintain consistency of fit and construction.
- Manage and develop the strengths of technical staff or assistance, interns by identifying their weakness and strengths.
- Demonstrate administrative skills to achieve a professional atmosphere and good work ethics.
- Implement the usage of the status reports ensure the tracking of garments and meet deadlines.
- Develop standards for embroidery, stitching, printing, fabrication, washing & dying.
Requirements:
- 5 – 8 years of experience in Quality Control | Apparel industry preferred.
- Minimum Graduation and Master is preferable.
- Should be able to develop, review and maintain metrics and quality audits.
- Negotiations, Interpersonal and people skills.
