Bachaa Party Jobs Lead Purchaser & Merchandiser :

Bachaa Party is looking to hire a skilled and experienced candidate for the position of Lead Purchaser and Merchandiser for food category.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute effective merchandising strategies for food products to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
Ensure proper positioning and arrangement of food items in displays, shelves, and promotional areas to maximize visibility and enhance customer experience.
Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand, minimize wastage, and avoid stock outs.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with food suppliers, negotiate pricing and promotions, and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely availability of products.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify product performance, consumer preferences, and opportunities for improvement.
Set competitive prices for food items, implement promotional campaigns, and collaborate with marketing teams to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, conduct regular quality checks, and address any issues related to product quality or freshness.
Educate store staff on product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and effective sales strategies to enhance their understanding and promote cross-selling.

Requirements:

A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
At least 5 – 7 years of hands-on experience in food merchandising.
Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
Strong knowledge of food products, market trends, and consumer preferences.
Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and effective product placement.
