SEDF is hiring for the position of SME Specialist.
The SME Specialist will support the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund in promoting sustainable growth, competitiveness and investment within the SME sector in Sindh, with responsibilities spanning project development, financial facilitation, policy research, monitoring and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing SME development programmes
- Identifying high-potential sectors and emerging business opportunities
- Developing concept papers, proposals, feasibility studies and implementation plans
- Evaluating financial and business proposals under SEDF schemes
- Liaising with banks, DFIs, investors and other financial institutions to facilitate SME access to finance
- Conducting SME policy research, sector analysis and preparing recommendations
- Monitoring project performance, data and deliverables
- Preparing periodic progress reports
- Maintaining project documentation and ensuring compliance with SEDF policies and Government of Sindh requirements
Qualification:
Minimum Master’s degree from a recognized university. A Diploma in Banking or equivalent will be an added qualification. Computer literacy is mandatory. Professional certifications in SME development, project management, investment, finance or entrepreneurship will be an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with specialization in any relevant field.
