Position: Enabler, Visual Design (Architecture & Interior), Weaves Corporation, Karachi.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled Architecture & Interior professional to join our Visual Design team in Karachi.
In this role, you’ll translate design concepts and intent into accurate, construction-ready drawings, supporting projects through design development and execution. As part of a team shaping the next generation of our retail stores, you’ll work closely with the construction team and external consultants to support in resolving technical requirements from concept to site.
Responsibilities:
- Produce architectural and interior CAD drawings for construction projects
- Update drawings to reflect changes requested by architects and project managers
- Coordinate with structural and MEP teams to ensure design requirements are accurately incorporated
- Liaise regularly with the construction team to resolve outstanding technical and drawing-related issues
- Coordinate with external consultants, including lighting and design specialists, as required
- Ensure layouts comply with applicable local building authority regulations and standards
- Integrate BOQ details into drawings and project documentation
- Conduct site surveys and verify the accuracy of as-built drawings provided by the Real Estate team
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work autonomously
- Curiosity about design and an innovative approach to problem-solving
- A solid understanding of materials & their application
Experience & Education:
- 3–7 years of hands-on drafting experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; SketchUp, Revit is a plus
- Familiarity with MS Office is a plus
