AMENDED ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLES
In continuation of the previous advertisement (7 March 2026 to 31 March 2026), applications are invited from male and female candidates residing in Gilgit-Baltistan to fill approximately three hundred and forty-nine (349) vacant posts of Constables (BS-07) in Specialized Units of Gilgit-Baltistan Police on open merit at the Gilgit-Baltistan level, subject to meeting the conditions given below. Interested candidates are required to submit online applications on the official website of Gilgit-Baltistan Testing Service: www.gbts.pmrugb.gov.pk.
Note: Candidates who have already submitted online applications do not need to apply again.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
ELIGIBILITY FOR CANDIDATES
Age:
- 18 to 25 years.
- (Age will be calculated as per the closing date for application submission. For previous applicants, the age criterion is March 31, 2026, while for new applicants, age will be calculated as of September 21, 2026.)
Height:
- Male candidates: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches.
- Female candidates: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches.
Chest:
- Minimum 33 inches with an expansion of $34\frac{1}{2}$ inches (For male candidates only).
Domicile/Residence:
- Candidate must be a resident of Gilgit-Baltistan, and presenting the original CNIC is mandatory for verification.
Education:
- Must possess a Matriculation pass certificate from any recognized educational institute.
Running Test:
- Male candidates must cover a distance of 1 mile in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
- Female candidates must cover a distance of 1 mile in 10 minutes.

The following documents must be uploaded with the online application:
- Matriculation certificate from any board
- CNIC issued by NADRA
- Police verification certificate
- Recently taken photograph
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
- No relaxation will be granted to candidates in age, height, chest, education, etc.
- A 5% quota will be reserved for minority candidates holding a domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan.
- In case minority candidates are not available, this 5% quota will be included in the general recruitment.
- Employees of government and semi-government organizations must attach an NOC with their application.
- Candidates will undergo a Physical Fitness test (height/chest measurement/running), and if required, height and chest measurements may be re-taken at any stage.
- This Department reserves the right to amend, renew, or cancel any stage of the recruitment process.
- It is mandatory for candidates to carry their original CNIC at all stages of recruitment. Please note that photocopies, etc., will not be acceptable. The organization may conduct biometric verification of the CNIC at any time.
- Original documents must be presented during the interview. If educational certificates, original CNIC, or medical certificates are found to be forged, fake, or if false information is provided during verification, the candidate’s recruitment will be canceled and legal action will be taken.
- Medical Ineligibility: Candidates suffering from any severe chronic/contagious disease, physical/visual disability, or any condition preventing operational duty will be considered permanently unfit based on the medical examination.
The last date for submitting online applications is September 21, 2026. Application uploading has started on the online portal of GB Testing Service from September 7, 2026.
Note: Fee: The processing fee for GB Testing Service is Rs. 700. The fee can be paid via 1Link through any bank ATM, internet banking, EasyPaisa, or JazzCash. Use the 24-digit PSID printed on the fee slip to deposit the fee.
