JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of critical rotating equipment at gas compression and processing facilities. Executes machinery overhauls, implements predictive maintenance strategies, and provides technical engineering support to minimize downtime, prevent equipment failures, and drive safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute and supervise overhauls to restore turbo machinery and other plant machinery to peak performance.
- Implement condition monitoring programs to proactively address machinery issues before costly failures occur.
- Provide commissioning support for new projects to accelerate project start-ups and ensure higher uptime and throughput.
- Coordinate with procurement to optimize parts availability for critical machinery maintenance.
- Approve routine maintenance workflows, work orders, and permit-to-work documents for rotating equipment interventions.
- Participate in the technical vetting of OEMs, sub-contractors, and spare part suppliers.
- Recommend operational adjustments or shutdowns based on predictive diagnostics to prevent catastrophic failures.
- Resolve technical queries with client O&M teams regarding machinery performance.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in rotating and turbo machinery.
- Age limit: Up to 35 years.
- Preference may be given to candidates with experience in similar fertilizer plants.
- Relaxation in age or experience may be considered based on relevant expertise and fertilizer plant experience.
