MANAGER – TAXATION
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end tax operations, including federal/provincial sales tax, income tax, and matters related to the zero-rating regime.
- Lead strategic tax planning to optimize liabilities and identify savings opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with domestic & international tax laws, including IOCO, & deferred tax regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities, external consultants, and auditors to manage audits & dispute resolutions.
- Lead the digital transformation of tax reporting processes by implementing automation tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Qualification, Skills & Experience: ACMA, ACCA or MBA Finance with 8-10 years of experience in taxation within large manufacturing firms. Proven experience & expertise in tax audits, litigation, deferred tax, regulatory reporting, transfer pricing issues, and matters related to the zero-rating regime, including its applicability, compliance, and documentation requirements.
