Union Fabrics is a vertically integrated textile manufacturing company specializing in weaving, processing, and stitching. They supply complete un-stitched suits to major retail brands in Pakistan and offer in-house design and product development services.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Set seasonal design directions, color palettes, and theme boards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and monitor the design team’s performance.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end process from initial sketch to final production-ready prototype.
- Market Analysis: Monitor global and local fashion trends and fabric innovations.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Technical Excellence: Supervise digital prints, embroideries, and fabric weaves.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Design or a related field.
- Experience: 7–10 years in textile design, including at least 5 years in a leadership/senior supervisory role specifically in Women’s Apparel.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or specialized textile CAD.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabric types, embroidery, and printing techniques (rotary, digital, screen).
