Position: Assistant Manager Finance
Purpose:
This position is primarily responsible for accounts payable & receivables, other duties include recording of short term investments, bank transfer entries, petty cash payments, physical verification of fixed assets. Assist in on time and accurate financial reporting.
Knowledge & Skills Requirement:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 4 years of focused experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Basic Knowledge of Income Tax & Sales Tax laws.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, treasury function and practical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards with grasp over group reporting & complex group consolidation.
- Hands-on experience of different ERPs such as SAP and Oracle.
Key Responsibilities
Payables
· Payables recording / payment
· Maintaining vouchers files
· Periodic payments of withholding tax and monthly statements
Receivables
· Preparing debit / credit notes.
· Correspondence with divisions / subsidiaries
· Maintaining voucher files
Fixed Asset
· Record keeping of fixed assets in FA module of ERP
· Carry out annual physical verification of fixed assets with reference to the fixed asset register.
· Prepare physical verification report and submit to the management.
Banking
· Monitoring and updating of daily funds position
· Park interbank/account transfer entries in Oracle
· Preparing of payment instruments such as RTGS / Bank Advice
· Liaison with investors and financial institutions on financing matters
· Record keeping of financing agreements and updating of financing schedules
· Daily updating of share pledge position and margin workings
Taxation
· Weekly updating of withholding tax records for management review
And any other tasks and responsibilities given by the management.
