Position: Assistant Manager Procurement (Headoffice Division)
Responsibilities:
- Procure materials for Apparel Division, chemical, mechanical, electrical, packaging material and general store items.
- Obtain approvals, place orders, and ensure timely delivery as per schedules.
- Prepare comparative statements and analyze monthly purchase reports.
- Maintain supplier database, evaluate vendors quarterly, and coordinate on supply complaints.
- Monitor inventory, follow up on payments, and track pending purchase requests daily.
- Focus on cost advantages, value-added services, Ex-works local purchases and frequently local market visits.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain or related field.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including PR, PO, GRN, and costing sheets.
- Hands-on ERP/ SAP.
- MS Office.
