Job Overview:
The Denim Sewing Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily sewing line operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals are achieved. The role involves managing manpower, controlling workflow, maintaining stitching quality, and ensuring compliance with approved methods and safety standards. The supervisor plays a key role in minimizing defects, improving line performance, and supporting on-time delivery of denim garments.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Education: Matric / Intermediate
- Minimum Experience: 3–5 Years (Denim Garments Preferred).
Core Competencies:
- Supervise sewing line operations for denim garments.
- Ensure production targets, line efficiency, and output quality are met.
- Monitor in-line quality and guide operators to prevent defects.
- Manage line manpower, attendance, and skill placement.
- Coordinate with Quality, IE, Cutting, and Planning teams.
- Resolve sewing issues related to machines, attachments, and workmanship.
- Maintain daily production, efficiency, and defect reports.
- Ensure safety, discipline, and housekeeping on the sewing floor.
- Support continuous improvement and operator training.
