VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: FIRE SAFETY OFFICER
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor compliance with company safety policies, PPE requirements, EHS and HACCP standards.
- Investigate workplace accidents/incidents, identify causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Inspect fire-fighting equipment and ensure it remains operational and properly maintained.
- Conduct fire drills, evacuation exercises and safety training for employees.
- Maintain relevant safety, fire and EHS/HACCP records and reports.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety or Fire Safety will be preferred.
- 3–4 years of practical experience in a similar position preferably in Beverage Industry.
- Knowledge of workplace safety, fire prevention and emergency response.
- Strong communication, observation, reporting and incident investigation skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment will be preferred.
