Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager Recruitment – Retail

LAMA is looking for a dedicated versatile Assistant Manager Recruitment-Retail who will be playing a critical role in talent acquisition, onboarding and other retail HR operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage all Retail Recruitment.
Utilize various networking and sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
Build and maintain a database of current and future job openings.
Review resumes based on defined eligibility criteria and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ suitability, experience, and cultural fit. Present candidate profiles to hiring managers, highlighting key strengths and potential concerns.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective interview questions and evaluation criteria.
Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and interviewers.
Conduct reference check and background check with due diligence. Facilitate the relevant managers/HODs if their assistance is required for the reference/background check.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and progress.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and industry associations to expand the candidate pool.
Make approval notes for making offers to finalized candidates.
Make a formal offer to the finalized candidate.
Maintain an updated list of joiners.
Maintain an updated list of leavers.
Ensure timely communication with HR operations personnel regarding joiners and leavers.
Manage complete offboarding and clearance of retail by liaising with the relevant departments.
Performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of LAMA assigned by the company management.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field. Master’s degree in Human Resources, MBA or relevant certifications is a plus.
Prior experience of 3-5 years in a similar role in the retail industry is required.
Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment, interview assessments and onboarding is crucial to the role.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant HR technologies is a plus.

Salary Range: 100k – 125k
