Position: Senior Executive Billing & Disbursement
Location: Karachi
Qualification:
- CA Part Qualified, CMA Finalist or MBA(Finance)
- Audit Firm Experience will be preferable.
- Worked as a supervisory role for 3 to 5 years.
- Strong Knowledge of IAS, IFRS, Income Tax, Sales Tax and Provisional Tax.
- Advance MS Excel Knowledge (Pivot Table, Advance Formulas, dynamic charts etc.)
- Familiarity with accounting software SAP B1.
- Extensive experience in payment control, accounting, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and payment systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities:
Payment Process Oversight:
- Supervise and manage the end-to-end payment process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Implement controls to mitigate payment risks and fraud.
Transaction Verification:
- Conduct thorough reviews and verifications of payment transactions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Payment Reconciliation:
- Reconcile payments against invoices, statements, and financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Vendor and Supplier Interaction:
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to address payment-related queries and concerns.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships to facilitate smooth payment processes.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on payment activities.
- Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in payment controls.
- Implement measures to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
