Department Design (Process Equipment Division)
Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with PEC certification
Experience Required: 8 to 10 years (Oil & Gas / Power sector)
Job Description
- Design, develop, and modify electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (NEC, IEC, etc.)
- Create detailed drawings, Single Line diagrams, schematics, and specifications as per different projects requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and analyses to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards, regulations, and best engineering practices.
- Validate electrical system designs and perform calculations.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolve technical issues during implementation.
- Provide technical support throughout installation, testing, and commissioning phases of the EPCC projects.
- Prepare specifications for the procurement of LV/MV motors, Drives, generators, and transformers.
- Design LV/MV switchgear, AMF/ATS panels, and perform short circuit calculations.
- Perform sizing and calculations for LV/MV power cables, transformers, and Generators.
- Conduct load and short circuit studies using ETAP.
- Contribute to lighting studies, layouts, and designs.
- Ensure proper grounding, lightning protection, and cathodic protection systems.
