We are seeking a skilled Deputy Manager Sustainability to drive our carbon credit initiatives and environmental sustainability efforts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in carbon credit generation, emissions reporting, and sustainability frameworks, ensuring compliance with global standards.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage methodologies for carbon credit generation, monitoring, and reporting in alignment with standards such as Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), and methodologies related to carbon emissions and Carbon credit generation.
· Knowledge of carbon offset mechanisms, including voluntary and compliance carbon markets. Conduct preliminary Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to estimate carbon credit production. Manage the creation of Project Design Documents (PDD) in compliance with carbon market requirements.
· Administer, update, and continuously enhance the environmental reporting platform to meet dynamic business needs.
· Develop and maintain methodologies for environmental sustainability indicators as per international standards (GRI, TCFD, TNFD, ISSB, GHG, CDP), ensuring compliance and data integrity.
· Prepare reports and datasets to support decarbonization, water savings, and waste management efforts.
· Develop the collection and management of carbon emissions data to ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders, adhering to global reporting frameworks and continuous improvement in carbon reduction strategies and sustainability initiatives.
· Contribute to the creation of guidelines for decarbonization, water management, waste reduction, and carbon credit generation.
· Leverage tools like life cycle analysis and ISO14021 standards for project evaluation. Ensure compliance with regulations related to carbon credits and environmental claims.
Skills:
· Proficiency in Sustainability Reporting, Carbon Credit Frameworks.
· Strong Analytical, Communication and problem-solving Skills.
· Fluency in English and Excellent Writing Ability.
